The rooms don’t have to be anything fancy In reality, they’re just standard conference rooms big enough to accommodate all of participants and have a table big enough to hold the board papers and other things needed during the meeting. What they require is a place in which they can have an open conversation that is honest and encourages collaboration and the best decision-making.
To reach this goal, boardroom training is essential for all board members as well as the company secretary or governance professional who helps them. Boardroom Mastery ™ is an interactive board simulation which gives participants the chance to improve their leadership abilities in an environment that is safe and challenging. Every participant will be given a one-on-one session with an organizational psychologist who will look at his or her individual behaviours to aid them in understanding how these can impact their decision-making. For three days, participants participate in a board that is tested with real governance and crises scenarios.
